The district 9 meeting was called to order at 1:00 pm on January 14th 2018 with the pledge of allegiance and a moment of silence given, with 15 members, 3 county reps, and 3 guests present.

State News: April 9th is deadline for artwork for LDR to be turned into state office. State is asking for 2 volunteers per shift at the gate from each district. Discussion on the boat docks at lake. Calendars are in, contact district board for them.
Awareness report: Still have yard signs and handing them out.
Product report: Still have Awareness shirts, District 9 shirts, and memory patches. Discussion on ladies shirts, tabled till later date. Will need input from the ladies to help make decision on shirt color, style, and design.
Website report: Not update at time of meeting.
Old business: Still having newsletter delivery issues or timely delivery. District calendar for meeting location is available. Myrna gave details about Christmas toy donations.
New Business: Paul, State president, made an appearance today at the meeting.

Will need input from the ladies to help make decision on shirt color, style, and design. Ladies please come to meeting or get with your product rep for input on ladies shirts.

New Business: 25 tickets for eagle statue to be made and sold after current item is drawn. Motion made, 2nd, and approved for district to buy brick for memorial in Tescott to honor Vets.

Awareness report: Still handing out yard signs. Anderson bought a hiway sign to honor son, he plans on placing in on the side of his barn North of McPherson.
Product report: Still have Awareness shirts, District 9 shirts, and memory patches. Motion made, 2nd and approved to order more shirts.

Old business: Motion made, 2nd and approved to send yearly membership to MRF. Dunk tank discussion, tabled till later date.

Awareness report: New City of McPherson ordinance has changed the way motorcycles, now can park at diagonal parking stalls. Old ordinance did not allow motorcycles to back into diagonal parking stalls. Several signs handed out at car show at Hillsboro.

Awareness report: Handed out yard signs to a couple bike shops in Colorado.
Product report: Still have Awareness shirts, District 9 shirts, and memory patches. Sample cup and cozy was brought to meeting to see. Motion to set price on cups and cozy, 2nd and approved. Tags are done just need to schedule to pick up.
Website report: New email address needed to send minutes to for website update. Will need last 2 meeting minutes
Old business: Dunk tank report, one last rental location. New owner of dunk tank paid in full. Cloud Co Toy Run is in progress. Marion Co Toy Run is in progress. Bike show discussion on trophy’s, sponsorships and being made. Personal thank you to district for plant from David.
New Business: Mid South mile deadline unknown, have not seen it in the newsletter. Motion made, 2nd and approved to send in money for Mid South mile. Ballot correction needed on address to mail in ballots, bring to meeting or mail to Ron Davis. Mail in ballots or come to meeting to vote.

Old business: Cloud Co Toy Run was a successful even with the cold and raining conditions. Bike show was successful. Casino night canceled due to conflict with Brotherhood of Mann (BOM), a thank you and apology read to district from BOM at meeting for the conflict.
New Business: Mid South mile did get registered. Short on basket items for the mile, asking for more item. Theme is “wind” for the Mid South Mile. Janet B is stepping down from mailing out the membership due reminders. Host for state meeting to pay for meal. Mail in ballots or come to meeting to vote.

Old business: Discussed email sent to lobbyist for right of way bill.
